I love Nacogdoches! It is a truly beautiful place and the SFA campus breathes life into the area. It is a small town and has some of the common drawbacks small towns have such as limited opportunity and close minded people but the university takes away from some of that. I've truly loved living here but I'm not sure if it will be my forever home. I'm open to the possibility though.

I love Nacogdoches Texas, I was born and raised in this small town. I love how everyone is so sweet and caring in this community, we all treat each other like family. One thing I love about Nacogdoches is the parades, the way that everybody comes together and have a good time just puts a smile on my face and makes my days even better. One think I would like to see a change in is the roads, the roads are a little too rough and it can feel really dangerous when it’s raining, so that is something that I would like to see a change in, but other than that I love the community and the people in it.

Nice little town. Historic, tranquil, lots of green spaces, and that friendly vibe of the small town where everyone knows everyone else. Has a great farmer's marker and growing arts scene. The university presence brings options not usually available in a small town, like a Japanese string quartet performance or a touring theater company. Went to college in Nac in the nineties, moved away to work in the big city, came back because I love the vibe. Best decision ever.
