In all likelihood, Children's Week is the World of Warcraft counterpart ofChildren's Day,a Japanese celebration that is traditionally held on the 5th of May.

In World of Warcraft, the event is about taking care of a few childrenmade orphans by the many wars that Azeroth has known in recent times.

The event mostly revolves around you travelling through Azeroth withthe orphans you are taking care of, showing them the places they have alwaysdreamt to see.

1.

Overview

The Children's Week is a rather short event during which you willmostly spend your time travelling with orphans in order to completethe 3 quest lines proposed. In addition, you will probably spend a lotof time doing Battlegrounds to complete one of the achievements that isparticularly hard to do (depending on your proficiency at PvP).

6.6.

School of Hard Knocks

In 2022, Children's Week 2024 Guide for World of Warcraft (113) School of Hard Knocks is no longer required for theChildren's Week 2024 Guide for World of Warcraft (114) For The Children meta-achievement.

Children's Week 2024 Guide for World of Warcraft (115) School of Hard Knocks requires you to achieve various feats in Battlegroundswhile your orphan is with you. There is a lot of controversy surrounding thisachievement, as many players join Battlegrounds during Children's Weekand only focus on completing School of Hard Knocks rather than trying toplay the Battleground properly.

In any case, Children's Week 2024 Guide for World of Warcraft (116) School of Hard Knocks is very hard to complete, as youneed to achieve the following feats (while your orphan is with you):

  • Capture the flag in Eye of the Storm;
  • Assault a flag in Arathi Basin;
  • Assault a tower in Alterac Valley;
  • Return a fallen flag in Warsong Gulch.

The difficulty mostly comes from the number of players who will want tocomplete their objective at the same time as you, especially in Alterac Valley.

6.7.

Veteran Nanny

Children's Week 2024 Guide for World of Warcraft (117) Veteran Nanny will require you to complete the Shattrath quest linewith the same character in 3 different years, each time choosing a different pet reward.
